Mariana in the blue

Color and light-wise, this is good. The colors pop. But there's a disconnect in the feeling. The bright, vibrant colors suggest something very happy and energetic. There's something very idyllic about the grassy hill going straight into blue sky and fluffy clouds. The wardrobe is nice and simple, very girl next door. However, the pose is more moody and dramatic. It doesn't feel like it belongs in this setting. You can juxtapose the emotion of the pose with the emotion of the setting, creating tension, but that takes a lot of balance that just didn't happen here. I'm not really sure what kind of emotion you were aiming for. If we could see the model's eyes, if it was a kind of defiant or proud drama, I think that would have looked beautiful. Additionally, there's nothing happening with the negative space. The model has great motion, but she's only taking up the center third, which means that the other two thirds is just dead. If you trim the edges so that she is more the focus, I think that would create a lot more interest.
